Time for some 'Comic Relief'

September was a big month for me. After 11 years at ITV, I left to join ‘Comic Relief’ as their Senior Talent Manager on their newly formed Talent Team. Working with the BBC, the charity and their commercial partners to attract and attach world class talent to their projects, including ‘Red Nose Day 2019’.

I truly loved my time at ITV and although it was a tough decision to leave I needed a new challenge. Something that would both utilise and further my skills; as well as being a project I was passionate about.

As one of the nation’s most loved brands, ‘Comic Relief’ is at an exciting and transformational stage in its development. It is becoming a creative agency for a social change - proud to be bold, confident and even edgy. The aim is to harness creativity to better effect by valuing their brands, embracing talent and engaging more people in their mission. Whilst super serving their existing audience, the focus is now also on attracting the next generation to care, buy, do and donate.

I am delighted to be part of the team and look forward to what lies in store over the months leading up to the campaign.
